The enlightened society has with no doubts, grown in unprecedented leaps and bounds within the past few decades, under the wings of information technology. These not withstanding, the learning gap kept widening even with the myriads of alternative self-help platforms being chunked out on a yearly basis, on the average. This grief point, informed our duty post here!
The Do-It-Yourself alias DIY-hard learning curve, agreeably has worked but to some measurable degree, with its limiting pain-points glaringly visible! We sincerely salute the honest travails of Youtube, MDN, Stack Exchange/Overflow, Reddit, W3Schools and most importantly; Codecademy, Sololearn & Repl.it! In all their gigantic steps towards easy access to code learning, about a few things were obviously at large and these necessitated the rebirth called runebin app.
From the onset, the team at runebin Tech. being the drivers behind the wheels of runebin app. started off this gigantic journey on a ground-breaking note back in the early days of August 2021, with supportive mobile apps like Screencast and Spacedesk , which gave the leap of faith while being quite limited in reach and coverage to accommodate the learning spread(class), way back then.😏
Fast forward to March 7, 2022, we bounced back on another dimension and thus, successfully conducted our first virtual training on Web Design with the support of tools like Free Conference Call , Google Classroom and so on, as verifiable from here. This quite scaled but not without hitches.
So, as necessity they say, is the mother of all invention; we only had one option to keep moving forward ( like Lewis in Meet the Robinsons, always reminds !) 😊
Identifying the hassles that come with editing and republishing of our live video training materials with this recently adopted step of March 2022, we, being a compact sized team at runebin Tech., badly needed a break! And in that spirit of consistency, we devised a learning means of shared responsibility between us and our students, to offset the load on us at the time while still retaining the goal and this worked, still having its limitations.
After so much evaluation and consideration, we evolved into what you now have as runebin app, all conceived and built from the scratch at runebin Tech. and first launched on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 11:35pm Nigerian time.
This is simply a humble introduction of the project on ground. We have come a long way from here to renege on this journey, so we implore you our esteemed user, to sit tight and join this bold stride. And this sincerely, is our story so far.
